After FaZe finished their matches of the day at ESL Pro League Season 6 Finals, Nikola "NiKo" Kovač talked to us about his team's recent struggles and their slow start in Odense.

FaZe have so fair split their first two matches at the finals, conceding Inferno to fnatic in overtime before locking down a narrow Mirage over Liquid, and are now sitting in third to fourth place in Group A with four points.

In our next interview from Odense, Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač talks FaZe's disappointing campaigns as of late and discusses their struggles in their first matches at the event:

That's why you guys are silver noobs. Niko lost to many people in a duel so did cold. Does that mean all those players are better than Cold and Niko? Wtf? The skill depends on clutches, accuracy, headshots, entry kills. Niko is a far more versatile and skilled than cold is. Cold had a rifle and lost to rain in a duel who had a deagle on mirage some days ago. That must mean that rain is better than cold by your logic.

you must be the silver if you cannot comprehend what I wrote... It's not about any single isolate duel... even karrigan which is a fucking noob aimwise can kill cold sometimes. When you look at the full picture, which include a variety of situations when both faced eachother, cold killed niko much more than niko did cold. Niko 0/8 head to head against coldzera, never forget. hltv.org/forums/threads/1601085/0-8-mean.. If Niko is the more skilled player on the server, he wouldn't fail to kill an inferior player 8 times out of 8. Cold doesn't die 8 times in a row to anyone, because he is indeed the superior player on a server.

If head to head doesn't count when karrigan can kill coldzera, then why would you count it when Niko and cold are one on one. The skill is about the overall gameplay. Not between the two best in the world. If a player kills cold more than a few times in an 1v1 situation that means he's better than cold? What kind of logic is that? You just said even karrigan can beat cold in a duel there's a possibility and he's a noob. Then why would you apply this when its on Niko and cold only? Niko is far more aggressive, fast and better accuracy wise. Cold is more experienced and shows a slight better game sense cuz he doesn't have to the dirty work. Where as in faze, olof, rain and Niko everyone find the opening frag specially NiKo. But cold is more of a passive player. I am not saying who's the best. But skill wise ez NiKo. I hope you get my point.
