Brazil reclaims MDL Global Challenge spot for ESEA S27
Brazil will reclaim its spot at the MDL Global Challenge in Season 27, ESEA has confirmed.
The winner of the ESEA Open League in Brazil will once again qualify for the MDL Global Challenge, joining the top three teams from the Premier divisions in both Europe and North America, and the winner of the Australian division.
Brazil will not send a representative to the upcoming Season 26 Global Challenge due to scheduling constraints, with the spot being taken by the fourth-placed team from North America. The event will take place from January 4-8 in New York, with $50,000 up for grabs.

Registration for ESEA S27 is now open and will remain so until January 15, with matches due to start only six days later. A total of $150,000 will be on offer across the leagues this season, which will introduce some changes to the National Championship structure.
