mousesports have booked their place at cs_summit 2 after defeating Heroic 2-0 (16-4 on Cobblestone, 16-9 on Inferno) in the LOOT.BET Cup 2 grand final.

Following the end of the 22-team group stage, eight squads advanced to the single-elimination playoffs. With a spot at cs_summit 2 on offer, HEROIC and MOUZ battled it out in the qualifier's grand final after beating Valiance and Vega Squadron, respectively, in the semi-final stage.

With Oleksandr "⁠s1mple⁠" Kostyliev stepping into Tomáš "⁠oskar⁠" Šťastný's shoes, the European mixture was off to a great start, securing an 11-4 half-time lead while playing as Terrorists on Cobblestone. Chris "⁠chrisJ⁠" de Jong's men kept pressing on and eventually locked down the map with a flawless CT side.

The ECS Season 4 Finals runners-up have secured a spot at cs_summit 2

Next up was Inferno, HEROIC's map pick, with MOUZ securing a quick 6-2 lead despite not being able to follow up their T-side pistol win. In the ninth round, Heroic looked set to get back in the game on an extremely shoddy buy, but Martin "⁠STYKO⁠" Styk crushed their hopes with an impressive 1v5 clutch, paving the way for his team to secure a 10-5 lead.

With yet another pistol round win, MOUZ hit 12-rounds on the board, but HEROIC did not want to throw in the towel and responded with a successful CZ-buy. The Danes followed that up with a few more round wins, but MOUZ would not let a comeback happen and took the map, 16-9, to book their place at cs_summit 2.

Lol. It's pretty good. We are a small nation and we have 3 world class players like Ropz, HS, Fejtz and a decent team like WASD. I know it cant be compared to Canada (You guys have Twistzz, JasonR and Steel + you are 100× times bigger than our small nation)

Fejtz doesnt blow- has great aim and it's his first GOOD team. He has to get some experience. HS is the most underrated player in the current NA scene, does so much for his team but doesnt get a lot of attention. (For example: TACO and HS do the same roles. Both dont get a lot of frags but they always try to help the team)

He did his job as a standin in a team hes never played in very well and helped them qualify playing very consistantly being 1st or 2nd on the scoreboard over all 4 maps he played, deserves some praise if you ask me
