Paulo Velloso confirms talks with Immortals over mibr brand
Made in Brazil owner Paulo Velloso has confirmed that he is in talks with Immortals about selling off his brand to the North American organisation.
Last month, a report from independent journalist Jarek "DeKay" Lewis stated that Immortals had purchased the rights to the "Made in Brazil" trademark, sparking rumours that the North American organisation could make a comeback in the scene under the famed "mibr" name.

But in a podcast interview with former g3x member Alexandre "gAuLeS" Chiqueta, Paulo Velloso stressed that the two parties are still negotiating, even though he admitted that a deal is close at hand.
"We are still talking," he said. "I hope the deal will be completed, but I cannot say yet that it is done.
"I want it to happen, Noah from Immortals wants the same, but it is not done yet. Now it is just a matter of fees and bureaucracy, because it is a foreign company trying to register a Brazilian trademark in Brazil. The trademark is still under my company's name."
Made in Brazil were one of the most successful organisations in the early 2000s, when they supported the team that won ESWC 2006. 100 Thieves duo Bruno "BIT" Fukuda Lima and Lincoln "fnx" Lau are among the most famous players to have represented mibr, who closed their doors in 2012, after not fielding a team for a year.
Immortals announced on December 1 that they were taking a step back from the Counter-Strike scene, adding that they would draw up an action plan after the ELEAGUE Major Boston, which will run from January 12 to 28.
