dupreeh to remain as AWPer moving forward

Earlier today Astralis confirmed Nicolai "⁠device⁠" Reedtz, the team's former AWPer, will be back  to play at the ELEAGUE Boston Major. He will, however, roll back time as he will go back to a lurking role which he hasn't played since he picked up the AWP full time in 2016.

Peter "⁠dupreeh⁠" Rasmussen's answer to 1tap, a Danish podcast, on the subject:

"[device being ill] resulted in me being the AWPer now, and it will continue full-time. It is kind of a secret, I am not sure when this will be published, but it is supposed to be a secret until the Major."

During device's absence late last year Astralis used Dennis "⁠dennis⁠" Edman and Ruben "⁠RUBINO⁠" Villarroel as stand-ins, two riflers, and dupreeh stepped up and picked up the big green while device was taking time to recover from injury.

Moving forward we can expect to see a different Astralis than the one we saw before device's hiatus last year, as dupreeh explains:

"I would really like to be the player that makes the aggressive moves and opens the maps up, making some space for the others, which is what Markus [Kjaerbye] has done for a long time now. But when Nicolai [device] came back, he stated the desire to play in a lurk position, which he has done before, and I wanted to play AWP full-time, so we came to the conclusion to make this switch happen, and that is what we are practicing right now."
