Major Qualifier Round 5 match-ups drawn

ELEAGUE has revealed the match-ups for the fifth and final Swiss round of the Boston Major Qualifier.

The draw has produced an all-CIS clash between AVANGAR and Quantum Bellator Fire, the two teams who came out of the CIS Minor, which was topped by the Kazakhstani side.

Natus Vincere will be seeking redemption against Liquid after being thumped by FaZe, while MOUZ will lock horns with Renegades in the most interesting encounter of the fifth round.

Na`Vi will take on Liquid for a spot in the main stage

The losing teams of this round will not be sent home right away as they will take part in a last-chance stage to determine 100 Thieves' replacement. These three teams will be seeded according to the strength of the opponents they faced in the Swiss stage, with the winner securing a spot in the Major's New Legends stage.

While I agree about the ranking thing the basic reseeding is easier. What I meant is that you seed based off the previous pools you were in. So in the 2-2 pool, teams that came up from the 1-2 pool cannot play each other and teams that lost in the 2-1 pool cannot play each other.

Worst major to date, some things seriously need to change. Coaches like zews and maLeK having to play, Tyloo not making it to the major while they were the ones who actually qualified, 100thieves, a Legend team, not making it to the major... And BO1's in a major are stupid, it allows for stupid shit like this to happen. A major should be BO3 double elimination, so you take out the random upset factor, and only actual good teams make it through. So what if groups take a week to be played, it's a fucking major, it should be treated as the most prestiguous and biggest event in the game. Majors right now are a joke.
