chrisJ: "We're not planning on practicing teams who will play at the Major"

mousesports' Chris "chrisJ" de Jong talked to HLTV.org following his team's victory over Renegades which qualified them for the ELEAGUE Major.

Despite starting the Swiss format with a 2-0 record, MOUZ ended up clinching their spot at the ELEAGUE Major in the fifth round, after losses to Cloud9 and Space Soldiers, as they passed Renegades with ease.

After the team qualified, we got a hold of Chris "chrisJ" de Jong to discuss several topics, including their last three matches at the tournament, preparation ahead of the Major itself, and more:

Kick Styko RIGHT NOW and you'll still have time to practice with the replacement, whoever that might be (anyone else is an improvement). Otherwise it'll just be a repeat of last time if the other players show up: they'll drag the team to the finals or at least the playoffs, where Styko single-handedly throws the tournament away. He is complete, utter, absolute trash who baits his teammates to get frags, and still fails miserably every single time.

One of you again, i coul explain you why styko is very important to mouz. Well, you know what, im gonna do it. Styko is a supporter, no fragger and people like you look at frags. Mouz doesnt need him to frag only to support the rest. While he does that, all he has to do is trade or clutch and maybe exitfrag. He is no entry or someone mouz tries to force into a duel, hes there to support not frag.

Considering he has oskar, ropz and sunny in his team, how can he shine like them? Xd these guys writing -styko are just braindead, they barely know anything about csgo.

You can practice against other teams without giving away strats. That's where the term saving it for the major comes from. You play but don't use strats. C9 did it just fine, don't see why mouz can't
