FaZe defeat fnatic to secure first win

Starting out as Terrorists, FaZe began the match with a flawless T-side pistol before easily picking up the following anti-ecos. The European mixture then won the first gun round, but fnatic responded with Deagle double-kills from Maikil "⁠Golden⁠" Selim and Jonas "⁠Lekr0⁠" Olofsson to get their first round on the board. 

After losing two more rounds, FaZe brought the Swedes' streak to an end, with Ladislav "⁠GuardiaN⁠" Kovács then clutching a 1v2 post-plant situation, they managed to break fnatic's economy. After that, Finn "⁠karrigan⁠" Andersen's men easily picked up a 9-3 lead.

In the following round, it seemed like FaZe had crushed fnatic's hopes with a 2v4 clutch from Olof "⁠olofmeister⁠" Kajbjer and Håvard "⁠rain⁠" Nygaard, but the Swedish team refused to throw in the towel. Thanks to a successful CZ-buy in the 14th round, fnatic were able to reduce the deficit to 5-10 before switching sides.

fnatic began the second half by winning the pistol round and then hitting the eight-hour mark despite FaZe's efforts with pistols. From that point, however, olofmeister and co. were simply too hot for their opponents to handle, and quickly wrapped things up as they took the map, 16-8.
