Rogue sign SicK, ryx

Rogue have completed their roster with the additions of Hunter "SicK" Mims and Ronnie "ryx" Bylicki, the North American organisation have announced.

Rogue had been on the lookout for new players to complete their roster after parting ways with Josh "⁠shinobi⁠" Abastado in the aftermath of the ESL Pro League Relegation tournament, where the team fielded Michael "⁠Uber⁠" Stapells as a stand-in.

Hunter "⁠SicK⁠" Mims was one the three Misfits members whose future was unclear after the organisation decided against offering them contract extensions.

SicK joins Rogue

Ronnie "⁠ryx⁠" Bylicki, 24, had been a free agent since being released by Ghost in November, after just three months with the team. Before the turn of the year, he played for Unemployed for Christmas in the CyberPowerPC Extreme Gaming Series Invitational, helping the ex-CLG roster to finish in second place.

The two players will make their first appearance for Rogue later tonight, in the North American open qualifiers for IEM Katowice.

With these additions, Rogue now have:

None of them would risk locking himself from bigger tournaments by teaming up with match fixer (fxyo). Even if orgs/valve lift bans, there is still mistrust towards such players from community.

Pretty good signings, still need to give that to Hiko at the very least. It'll be interesting to see the roles though, seems like a shitload of periphery riflers.

I'm not familiar with vice, could he play a supporting role?

He's usually a lurker, so him and Hiko will be the peripheral players and support-ish players. sick did a lot of entry duties on Misfits, and we know how that turned out (esp. compared to his Denial/Mortality days)... and ryx only entries when it's an eco and he has a P90, otherwise he has the tendency to get a little baity (edit: or be off doing his own shit).

Hiko will be the lurk Sick and Ryx is going to be 2 agressive rifflers, most maps they will be in the map control on T side. Vice will be the secondary lurk, rotating back to the executes e.g. I will be AWP'ing and IGL. From CadiaN
