flamie: "If we play well individually, I think we have a good chance to beat [FaZe]"
We grabbed Egor "flamie" Vasilyev for a quick interview following Natus Vincere's dominant victory against Quantum Bellator Fire in the quarter-finals at the ELEAGUE Major.
Natus Vincere have joined FaZe in the semi-finals of the ELEAGUE Major after a dominant showing against Quantum Bellator Fire, with Egor "flamie" Vasilyev posting record-breaking numbers on the first map, Mirage.

In our next interview from the playoffs, we asked flamie about his incredible performance and about the matchup, as well as about Na`Vi's semi-final against FaZe tomorrow.
Can you first tell me how you prepared for the QBF match, if at all in any special way, did you watch their demos and did you have a good sense of where the veto was going to go?
Yeah, we always prepare one day before the game, we watched two or three demos of them. We expected the maps that were played, we knew that they were going to pick Mirage and we knew that we were going to pick Inferno. We watched their Mirage, Inferno, and Train, so we watched three demos and that's it.
Was there anything special about this match that helped you perform the way you did, breaking records during the first map?
Before the game, I don't know why, but I went on the street and said to s1mple that I'm feeling a lot of confidence before the game. So everything went as I wanted it to and we won.
Perhaps not in this match, but Quantum Bellator were overall a huge surprise at the Major, what are your thoughts on their showing here and on how that reflects on your region?
I said before that I'm very happy that our region is playing much better than it was. Quantum Bellator are a very young team and they did, I don't know, it's an unbelievable result for them, because they managed to become Legends at their first big event, it's something special. I'm happy for them.
How do you feel about your chances facing FaZe tomorrow in the semi-final?
It's always hard to play against them, but we will prepare for them for sure. If we play well individually, I think we have a good chance to beat them, because their game is more about individual skill than as teamplay, but of course they're a good team, so it's going to be really hard for us.
