According to a report by dust2.us, Kenneth "koosta" Suen has joined GX with whom he will play out the upcoming season of ESEA Premier.

Just a day after Pujan "⁠FNS⁠" Mehta, Kenneth "⁠koosta⁠" Suen's in-game leader from CLG, officially joined a Complexity, the 21-year-old AWPer has seemingly also found himself a place for the upcoming season.

Dust2.us reported that koosta will be joining GX, where he will take over the AWP role from Shawn "⁠witmer⁠" Taylor who departed the team earlier this week.

koosta will be AWPing in GX

koosta therefore finalizes GX's roster, with the team undergoing changes after an underwhelming showing at the MDL Global Challenge LAN. The core trio of Braxton "⁠swag⁠" Pierce, Keven "⁠AZK⁠" Lariviere and Matt "⁠Pollo⁠" Wilson remained in place but the team has been refreshed with a new in-game leader in the form of Joshua "⁠steel⁠" Nissan, and now a new AWPer as well.

With koosta joining, GX has the following roster:

they would have but dazed was awper and igl, then he stopped so they had to get witmer as igl and awp, but he couldnt do it, so azk was igl to try to qual, but he has never done it before for a good period, then after they were shit they kicked throwpr and added steel but witmer now doesn't need to be on the team so they add koosta, which is good because now they have no week spots and given a week this will be a good team.

Actually AZK has a lot of experience as an IGL from leading Dynamic. He just hadn't done it in a long time, and barely at all in CS:GO. He could probably do well with it given time, but I don't think he'd want to at this point.

CSGO and source are 2 completely different games. Also CSGO today is a completely different beast to what AZK played back in 2014. The game has evolved massively.

To say you can't lead a team from one iteration of CS to another is silly. The fundamental team structures and reads stay essentially the same. There are obviously gameplay changes that alter how the game is played, but they are not so far removed that you can't be an effective caller because you've moved from one version to the other. AZK already understands how GO differs from Source, the underlying problem is the amount of time it's been since he's actually led a team, not that the games are different.
