Denis "seized" Kostin will be playing for Gambit in tomorrow's IEM Katowice 2018 European Closed Qualifier, as he has revealed on Twitter.

Just a couple of days ago, the Russian player was revealed as a replacement for Bektiyar "⁠fitch⁠" Bahytov in ESEA MDL, with the reasons why the Kazakhstani player was absent, or the duration of his absence, not being disclosed.

The Russian player will be helping Gambit earn a spot in Katowice

With the former Natus Vincere and FlipSid3 member in their roster, Gambit picked up two confident wins in ESEA MDL, beating aAa 16-1 and Nemiga 16-6. It seems that the cooperation will continue, as the 23-year-old tweeted about tomorrow's IEM Katowice qualifier bracket, where Gambit could face Natus Vincere in the second round.

NiP won 1 tier 1 event in 2017 and 1 tier 2 event. Cloud9 however managed to make the minor, major qualifier, major of Krakow, abd this year they won a major too. What has your dear NiP won? Don't get me wrong I'm a nip fan by heart but you can't go around denying what's true.

so they won the major which was amazing apart from that they have done very little minor and such is irrelevant considering they only play the other teams in their region and SK automatically qualify And i never propagated NIP in anyway I am a fan too I didnt say they were better than anyone or even imply that so not sure where your going with this.

+1 c9 winning a major was good but doesn't make them top 1 automatically winning major quals vs other NA teams wasn't much of an achievement

Yeah if they make good placings in the next events and keep up the big performances then i will be impressed but until then this is an outlier. Same with gambit.

Why did seized fall off so hard? Kid was looking to break into the top-20 in 2015, and was still good in 2016. One of the better support players in the game. Now he's just bouncing around.
