AnJ to trial for North Academy

Allan "AnJ" Jensen, who was confirmed to play at Assembly Winter with North Academy, is trying out for a permanent spot on the team.

It was revealed that both Allan "⁠AnJ⁠" Jensen and Sebastian "⁠Basso⁠" Aagaard had been inscribed to Assembly Winter on the North Academy roster as Daniel "⁠mertz⁠" Mertz was moved up to the main team and Nicklas "⁠gade⁠" Gade—who practiced with the main team before Markus "⁠Kjaerbye⁠" Kjærbye's signing—was momentarily helping fill the holes left by René "⁠cajunb⁠" Borg and Kristian "⁠k0nfig⁠" Wienecke.

AnJ's trial with North Academy begins at Assembly Winter

Now, North Academy have added that AnJ will be with the team on a trial basis. The Dane just got back from six months overseas playing in Damian "⁠daps⁠" Steele' NRG, where he attended three DreamHack Open tournaments and the last ESL Pro League Finals.

Back in Europe, AnJ will now fight for a spot on North's second team starting today, as his North Academy take on FC Lahti Menace, HAVU, and Nicolai "⁠HUNDEN⁠" Petersen's ALTERNATE aTTaX in Group B of the $15,000 Assembly Winter.

The team's lineup is now:

oh i see dunno actually anj has both more experience and more established potencial however basso does seem to be a very good player with a lot of potencial it really comes down to chesmistry in the team i guess although in my opinion i would pick both and drop B0ruP

Shouldn't have left singularity to NRG anyway. This lineup would be much more interesting with mertz + AnJ. Maybe even stronger than North without k0nfig

Once? I'm by no means a bad player (beaten paid teams out of qualifiers and pros in praccs) but I'd expect paid pros to not having 0,30 K/D against me when I just woke up and aim like garbage. Yes it was one of those standards pistol aim-maps so no I didn't kill them from behind. And of course pistol dm is not where you are heavily invested like a pracc/pug/official nevertheless you're trying, else there's no reason to clock hours on the server is it? I'm not saying they're bad either, I'm just saying as of now based on personal experience I don't feel impressed compared to their status.

Glad to hear you're rational ;) My English isn't that great since I know a rather broad spectre of languages. On the other hand, pugged against juho and SAGGERTON, where the latter isn't hyped or known as this sick player yet he impressed and straight up vandalized me.
