SK win cs_summit 2 opener against Torqued
SK took their first match at the Beyond The Summit house as they beat Torqued in two maps, 16-4 on both Cobblestone and 16-5 on Inferno.
The match started on Cobblestone, with Torqued executing fast on B, but the CTs were too strong and took the first round without even allowing a plant. On the third round, Torqued made a GALIL and AK buy and took A site quick, but despite bombing the site all of the attacking players died causing them to go into the next round with a poor buy. SK won the round as Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo held B long with the AWP, resetting Torqued.
With the economic advantage, the Brazilian side quickly took the 5-1 lead before Torqued got their first good buy. The North American team were able to take that first gun round after an opening frag by Kenneth "koosta" Suen on B, which he followed up with a blind no-scope on Marcelo "coldzera" David, opened up the site. Up 6-2, SK were able to further their lead as FalleN and koosta played a drawn-out 1vs1 that the Brazilian player was ultimately able to win.
Ultimately, SK ran away with the half, taking it 12-3, not letting Torqued ever get a grip on their economy. The second pistol round went the way of the Brazilians as Fernando "fer" Alvarenga and FalleN, both with doubles, steamrolled into the A site. Torqued won a round with their backs against the wall, the first buy round of the second half, putting up a fourth round, but SK quickly closed the map out, 16-4.

The second map, Inferno, started on the right foot for Torqued as a double on banana from Matt "Pollo" Wilson defending the retake on B sealed the deal for his team, but doubles by Epitacio "TACO" de Melo and FalleN with CZs put a wrench in Torqued’s plans, winning the eco round to tie it 1-1. With SK up 4-1, the first buy round of the map got underway, and the Brazilians were able to further their lead winning individual duels all over the map.
Torqued were able to get a second round on the board, but were quickly reset by SK in the following round, taking a 7-2 lead and extending it in the following round against a force buy. With the economic advantage, and snowballing on the defending side, SK took the half giving up just one more round, for a 12-3 scoreline before switching sides.
The second pistol round went the way of the Brazilians as they played fast on B and cleared the site out without much opposition. Torqued went full-eco on the second round, but were able to take the buy-up in the third, putting a fourth on the board. Having money to buy from the previous won rounds, SK won an A execute to get on match point, and closed it a couple rounds later, 16-5.
