ESL Premiership expands to ten teams, prize pool increased to ~$16,600
The ESL Premiership has been expanded to ten teams and the prize pool increased to £12,000 (~$16,600), the league's organisers have revealed.
With the total number of teams in the league now up to 10 from eight, ESL has decided to change the format of the league, which will begin with two groups of five teams, who will battle it out in a best-of-one round robin stage.
At the end of this stage, the third-placed teams will be pitted against the fourth-placed sides in the opposite group, with the winners then facing a group runner-up in a qualifying match for the chance to join the group winners at the season finals.

The ESL Premiership will kick off on February 19 at 20:00 , with all matches being streamed live on twitch.tv/ESL_CSGO. The complete schedule will be released next week, according to ESL.
