Xizt: "Definitely want to keep playing"

Former Ninjas in Pyjamas member Richard "Xizt" Landström has guaranteed that he intends to keep on playing competitively.

The 26-year-old is weighing up his options after being replaced by Dennis "⁠dennis⁠" Edman on Ninjas in Pyjamas's roster as the Swedish giants looked to fine-tune their squad following a run of poor form.

Richard "⁠Xizt⁠" Landström had been part of Ninjas in Pyjamas since the organisation was relaunched, in August 2012, leading the team through most of those years, in which the team most notably won the ESL One Cologne 2014 Major, DreamHack Masters Malmö 2016 and back-to-back IEM Oakland events.

Xizt wants to continue playing

On Twitter, the Swedish veteran reacted to the news about his dismissal, admitting that this was "a sad day", and spoke of his desire to continue playing.

"Sad day having to step down from NiP...", he wrote. "I definitely want to keep playing, and I am looking forward to what will happen next.

"I will post something more detailed some other time. Thanks for the support."

Well I respect and love all teams equally, but bias has always put NiP ahead because of my history to 1.6 and the players themselves... CSGO pro scene is more competitive each day. A lot of teams got an IGL that cant frag that well, thats why we are seeing a lot of changes lately. Look at FalleN, for example, he is IGL and still frags like a beast. Even though some players are good IGLs, they HAVE TO frag decently as well.
