IEM Katowice begins today with the GSL group stage adjusted for eight teams per group, played mostly in best-of-three series apart from the best-of-one first round. 

Most teams have already arrived at the Spodek arena to begin their preparation for the first round of the groups, played over the course of the next three days.Two matches from Group A, SK vs. AVANGAR and Astralis vs. Renegades, will kick off the action in just a few moments.
