TyLoo eliminate Vega Squadron in Chongqing; to semi-finals

TYLOO had secured their place in the decider stage after crushing SCARZ Absolute on two quick maps, giving up just five rounds total against the Japanese side in the elimination match. 

The series kicked off on TYLOO's map pick, Inferno, with the Russians winning their T-side pistol to grab a quick 3-0 lead. The Chinese side responded with a successful gun round, but Vega Squadron immediately reset their opponents' economy.

However, TYLOO quickly took control of proceedings and closed out the half with a 10-5 lead. In the second half, Vega Squadron found a lifeline after denying TyLoo from building on their pistol round win, but Hansel "⁠BnTeT⁠" Ferdinand and co. then strung five rounds together to lock down the map, 16-8.

Next up was Mirage, Vega Squadron's map pick. Although Vega Squadron began with a triumphant Terrorist pistol, TYLOO replied with a force-buy to take control of proceedings and secure a 3-1 lead.

The Russians then won four of the next seven rounds to reduce the deficit to 5-6, but Ke "⁠captainMo⁠" Liu's men were simply too hot to handle, and went on an impressive ten-round winning streak to wrap things up, 16-5, and book their place in the semi-finals.
