TeamOne confirm drg move

TeamOne have completed their roster with the addition of Pedro "drg" Lima, it has been announced.

The Brazilian team had been on the lookout for a new fifth player after cutting ties with Caike "⁠caike⁠" Costa, a move that came just days after they had finished in fourth place at the WESG World Finals.

Pedro "⁠drg⁠" Lima is mostly known for his time with Team O2, who are regarded as TeamOne's academy roster as both squads are owned by the same person, Alexandre "kakavel" Peres.

TeamOne are back to a five-man roster

The Brazilian youngster has already joined up with the rest of the squad in the United States and will make his first official appearance later on Friday as the team will compete in the North American open qualifier for DreamHack Masters Marseille.

"This was the biggest and the best surprise of my life," he told ESPN Esports Brasil. "I did not expect this.

"Due to the recent developments and because I knew that kakavel and the other players knew me, I never stopped believing, it was always a dream."

TeamOne have been sent to the lower bracket in the Gfinity Winter Series following a 1-2 defeat to Etherian in the second upper bracket round. The Brazilian team will not be able to field drg in the tournament due to the roster lock rules in place and will continue to play with team coach Olavo "⁠chucky⁠" Napoleão.

He'll do very bad at the beggining FOR SURE (his results against some tier 2 brazilian teams are bad). Team One's CEO explained that he sees potential in him. (trk was a very unknown player too, but as the CEO saw potential in him, he got trk out of his city because he had bad internet and now he is for sure a solid tier 2 player.)
