MVP PK, TheMongolz qualify for ESL Pro League Season 7 APAC Finals
MVP PK and TheMongolz beat Flash and 5POWER in the Chinese closed qualifier to book their spot at the ESL Pro League Season 7 Asia-Pacific Finals.
MVP PK, who had beaten Eclipse in the previous stage of the tournament, were the first squad to qualify for the LAN finals after defeating Flash 2-0. It all started on Inferno, Flash's map pick, with the Koreans crushing their opponents by a 16-1 scoreline.

The second map, Mirage, was the polar opposite of Inferno as the first half was a back-and-forth affair. Flash managed to secure a total of seven rounds as CTs, and then followed that up with a great start in the second half to go up 10-8.
However, Flash could not accomplish the comeback as MVP PK tightened up their defence to lose only three more rounds, closing out the map, 16-13, to secure their place at the ESL Pro League Season 7 Asia-Pacific Finals.

Later on, The MongolZ took on 5POWER in the second Upper Bracket semi-final of the closed Chinese qualifier. The series kicked off on Cache, 5POWER's map pick, with the Mongolian team getting off to a flying start after picking up their T-side pistol, 5-0.
5POWER responded with two rounds of their own, but The MongolZ kept pressing on to bag a 12-3 half-time lead. From there, it was only a matter of time until Tsog "Tsogoo" Mashbat and co. finished things off, 16-4.
On The MongolZ's map pick, Cobblestone, 5POWER started off on the right foot, winning the first four rounds as Counter-Terrorists. However, their opponents went on a massive run to grab a 10-5 lead by half-time.
In the second half, although 5POWER kept trying to turn things around, eventually leading the map at 13-11, The MongolZ would not let their map pick slip through and proceeded on wrapping things up, 16-13, to book their place in the main event.
