Cloud9 add FNS

Cloud9 have announced on Twitter the addition of Pujan "FNS" Mehta to their roster.

Pujan "⁠FNS⁠" Mehta rejoins former teammates in Tarik "⁠tarik⁠" Celik, with whom he played under the CLG banner in 2014-2015, as well as Timothy "⁠autimatic⁠" Ta, who played alongside the Canadian in-game leader in TSM in the first half of 2016.

The 26-year-old transferred to Cloud9 from Complexity, where he plied his trade since January this year, after his previous team, CLG, had broken apart in late 2017.

FNS joins Cloud9

The American squad turned to FNS after their original plan to sign Richard "⁠Xizt⁠" Landström fell through, as in the end the former NiP member decided to join FaZe, whose Olof "⁠olofmeister⁠" Kajbjer took a leave of absence.

Cloud9 have been without a complete roster since Jake "⁠Stewie2K⁠" Yip joined up with SK and Tyler "⁠Skadoodle⁠" Latham announced his inactivity at the end of March. They have yet to reveal their fifth player.

Cloud9's roster currently looks as follows:

I think FNS's calling style fits many of the players on the team (he has also played with Tarik and Autimatic for long stints of time, so that's an added benefit). ... and the other four players on his team are all skilled enough to compensate for his lack of fragging ability. In my opinion, it depends on who C9 acquire as a fifth. With their current core, they can play almost any style of CS.

As the other two said based one pure IGL over the last year he is. Not historically overall but he has been a better IGL than xizt in the past year. But in order to make up for the lack of fragging fns can do they need a really good awper like cerq or even rickeh, dude is a beast awper and can rifle. JDM and Rickeh are probably identical in awping ability but Rickeh can use a rifle at a much higher level than JDM

Hes an upgrade in IGL specifically, I would assume this will allow Tarik to return to fragging, which makes him on par with Stewie if he can. The 5th member, likely JDM, should also be an upgrade over Skadoodle in terms of consistency. It will be on Autimatic and Rush to really step up, FNS to instill better ingame decisions, and Tarik to fills Stewies shoes.

While some parts of the UK were lovely, some other parts were literally the worst areas of the world I've ever personally seen, and at university I met lots of people like you who could barely boast mastery over their native tongue. Uhh sgares had a .87 on rating 1.0 which actually takes less into account and therefore gives you a higher rating, so no hes not a better fragger than FNS if anything theyre on the same level and thats not why you choose either of them. Sgares hasnt played with tarik nor tim and FNS has which gives him leeway in this team, the players will already trust him and be willing to listen to his calls. The team doesnt need more fragging power, if you can't work with Tarik + Tim + any decent AWPer the this team was never meant to be top 3. Also you're only other post says "Exactly my thoughts" in response to someone saying they want sgares, that doesnt exactly give me anymore information to base your point off of. Also you basically answered none of the questions i asked, you dont know if he wants to player, there arent any other IGLs, and you dont know he didnt say no.

Tim and Tarik have plenty of fragging power and RUSH has his moments he will be able to go back to being a pure entry and play the role he did for most of his career. If they poach a competent AWPer they can easily retain top 1 NA and have consistent international success if they have proper teamplay. FNS is a great IGL and very hard-working C9 fans should be lucky to have him as there were not that many good IGL options. And Tariks loose calling style wasn't going to work without a very patient supportive AWPer and insane entry power that stewie brought making their set pieces so explosive so they really needed to rework the positions from square 1.

Never laughed as much in my life. Cloud9 will never be TOP10 again, FNS & JDM are utter trash. Golden is not good individually but he has good capacity as a leader, things FNS never had.
