Update from the Crack Clan camp

We announced earlier tonight the changes in Crack Clan, things turn out they were not 100% true.

Crack Clan announced the Kovanen brothers quitting CS (for now), joining up would be Max "ruuit" Aspe and Tino "tihOp" Puumala. It has however come to our attention that the source was not 100% correct. The team will also say goodbye to Matti "SPIKEONE" Järvinen and bring in Jirka "jigetus" Ryhti.

We spoke with Ben Woodward, Crack Clan General Manager, about the swap.

"The players felt the new team with jigetus in it made more sense with the lineup changes that have been made. It's always regrettable to make changes in any lineup but sometimes they are unavoidable. SPIKEONE is a really nice guy and i wish him all the best in the future and I’m sorry his time in crack was short-lived."

Crack Clan will now be consisting of following:

Juuso "contE" Sajakoski
Jirka "jigetus" Ryhti
Max "ruuit" Aspe
Samu "plastE" Aalto
Tino "tihOp" Puumala

Confirmed by Crack Clan, this is the new lineup. The team will be attending the ESWC Asia Masters if they get off the waiting list.

That's funny cause its the same lineup as last year +jigetus -nasu and the only person who communicated well on that team was nasu, who is now gone... then again, what do i know, ive only played on that team for 3 years.

the 1.6 scene isnt exactly world class is all i am saying, as in playing wise. sure you guys are doing a good job with the flying finns, but its a shame no british players are breaking through at a top level.

Oh i see, hadn't a clue what you were trying to say based off your initial statement. CC are a UK org but yes, we dont have UK players, what does that have to do with anything? Dignitas have a stranglehold on the UK scene currently, it's disappointing they dont attend more events but this is not my problem!

I actually mis-read your quote, so apologies for that. I thought it was yourself saying that it was best for the team, which is what I found funny seeing as really the british scene isnt up to scratch yet. Yeah, only problem is with dignitas is that I cant see them competing with the likes of mTw, SK, fnatic etc at the highest level of CS any time soon.

Yeah. Suddenly after reading that article i feel like contE should have left instead of nasu and lurppis. And after that maybe bring ruuit back in the team. But what's done is done. maybe we'll see line-up like "Lurppis, nasu, spikeone, natu and tonppa" later this year.

Communication is an important part, there is nothing worse in a match, than don't receive a call and suddenly see 2 teammates dead on B-side a.e.

What i've discovered is that a out-game communication is very important. All of the players should have the same characters and sense of humor, imagine: if one guy is sum "badass mothaphuka", and the rest is calm etc. then this "badass" is first to departure.

.fi cs scene funny as hell. 7-8 top players. and endless rotate and changes in one top team. one well-known nick out, next well-known nick in. no offence ;)
