ESL One New York 2018 announced

From September 26-30, the event will return to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, after the famous arena hosted two $250,000 ESL One tournaments in the last two years.

2017's edition saw FaZe clinch the title in dominant fashion following an undefeated run, beating Liquid in the grand final.

This year's tournament will once again feature eight teams, five of whom will receive direct invites. The remaining three teams will come from qualifiers, which are yet to be revealed.

ESL One New York is set to return to the Barclays Center in November

The teams will first play a double-elimination group stage behind closed doors, followed by best-of-three semi-finals and a best-of-five grand final, which will be played in front of live audience in the arena.

ESL One New York is part of the Intel Grand Slam series, which will award $1,000,000 bonus prize money to the first team who wins four out of the last 10 premier tournaments organized by DreamHack and ESL.
