FaZe invited to ESL One New York

The organizers have confirmed FaZe to be the first team invited to the $250,000 tournament, which will take place at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center in New York on September 26th-30th.

FaZe, who are ranked number one in the world, will return to ESL One New York as defending champions having won last year’s tournament after dominating Liquid 3-0 in the grand final. Finn "⁠karrigan⁠" Andersen and co. will also look to add another win towards the Intel Grand Slam, as SK still holds the lead with two wins.

FaZe will return to the Big Apple

Eight teams will once again be participating in the ESL One New York event, with FaZe's announcement there are seven others to be determined through four remaining invites and three online qualifiers, which have not yet been announced.

It is still uncertain whether or not Olof "⁠olofmeister⁠" Kajbjer will be back in the active lineup since taking a leave of absence with Richard "⁠Xizt⁠" Landström taking his place, at least temporarily.
