ImAPet to consider European, Brazilian offers

Former CLG and OpTic coach Chet "ImAPet" Singh has revealed that he will consider offers from European and Brazilian teams.

The 21-year-old is currently weighing up his options after stepping down from his role in OpTic, who brought in two Danish players, Marco "⁠Snappi⁠" Pfeiffer and Jakob "⁠JUGi⁠" Hansen, and a new coach, Casper "⁠ruggah⁠" Due, formerly of North.

In a Twitlonger post, Chet "⁠Chet⁠" Singh wrote about the struggles that he experienced while he was part of the North American organisation. He lamented the lack of stability that he experienced and stressed that he gave "my 110% every day, even when the environment around me felt dead."

ImAPet is currently listening to offers

Chet also wrote that he was open to offers, and, in a follow-up tweet, he has now added: "Besides looking at North American and European options, I am going to make it clear I am also considering Brazilian offers as I have been working on my Portuguese (still needs work)."

Prior to joining OpTic, in the summer of 2017, Chet worked for CLG, first as an analyst and then as a head coach, most notably guiding the team to playoff appearances at StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 3 and DreamHack Open Summer.

Unfortunately working hard alone doesn't bring success. The NA roster died shortly after he joined and the next two lineups didn't experience almost any evolution from day 1 to the end. So despite the good results in CLG we still don't know the impact Imapet has in a team. Hopefully he finds a good and stable team next.

This. Last I heard he was b-b+ range as a player on esea. So probably doesn't have the mechanical skill for top level play but has proven multiple times he has the mental & strategic aspect down.

SK don't need a coach like ImAPet. ImAPet is an analyst in the role of coach who just gives off live analysis during pauses. SK need a zews type coach. zews also does tactical things but the most important part of zews is his emotional coaching. Keeping players in line and keeping them from getting tilted. ImAPet will not bring that

They don't need that at all. Fallen does that very good as he has shown in the past 2 years without coach. They need a good analyst who can give them the upper hand, the right tactical push right when it's needed. It slowly looks like fallen is running out of ideas

SK, you have one job. You need a coach desperately. FalleN can't do it all, it's too much for one man to handle and still perform his A game... and now the team communication is in english.

SK needed zakk. They also needed a Brazilian player because communication and teamwork is what made SK so strong, and now they are weak because there is a delay in what they see and what they think, translating things in their head, and actually saying it.

No. I would say hes one of the best analysts, but even that is iffy since analysts don't get lime light unless they get shoved into the coach role, like valens and ImAPet did, so we don't know how the competition stacks up against him
