Valiance and TyLoo secure playoff spots at Qi Invitational

The Group B action kicked off with Eclipse’s win against BIG and Valiance’s victory over TYLOO in the opening matches. Valiance secured their place in the playoffs by beating Eclipse 16-12 on Inferno in the winners’ match.

TYLOO faced BIG in the elimination match which was a best-of-three game. TYLOO had narrow wins on both maps, winning 16-14 on Overpass and 16-13 on Inferno. With this result, the Chinese earned a shot at qualifying for the playoffs through the decider game against Eclipse.

huNter's team finished the group in first place

The first map in the best-of-three decider game between two Chinese teams–TYLOO and Eclipse–was Mirage. Ke "⁠captainMo⁠" Liu & company secured the first map with a 16-13 victory. On Inferno, which was the second map, TYLOO had a 12-3 T-side half and closed out the map 16-8, winning the series 2-0 and advancing to the playoffs.
