Groups for EPL S7 Finals revealed

The groups for the ESL Pro League Season 7 Finals have been determined.

The Verizon Theatre in Dallas, Texas, USA will host the ESL Pro League Season 7 Finals on May 14-20. 16 teams will partake in the tournament which will have a $750,000 prize pool. The winners will take home $250,000 while the runners-up earn $110,000.

The event will have two double-elimination groups, each of which will hand out three spots in the playoffs. The upper-bracket winners will advance to the semi-final while upper-bracket runners-up and lower-bracket winners move on to the quarter-finals.

s1mple & company will face tough opponents in the group stage

MOUZ, FaZe, and Natus Vincere have been drawn into the same group while Astralis, SK, and Liquid are set to compete in the other group. The last slot in Group Yellow will be handed out in the ESL Latin America League Season 1 Finals between FURIA and Sharks.

Not sure C9 are top 5 right now. I'd put Astralis and fnatic above them and liquid pretty much even. Yellow group is a bit stronger but Astralis just beat half the teams in it to win a tournie, SK are always dangerous and NiP and Liquid can beat any team on a good day.

groups are somewhat balanced imo.

Tbh Liquid + cloud9 + sk are the only teams in America that could compete in world class cs go .. in the other side in Europe there is .. Faze + Astrails + Navi + mouz + nip + ... And more ... So imo the groups is not that much balanced but you can't get a lot better ...
