NiP invited to StarSeries i-League S5

Ninjas in Pyjamas are the latest team to secure an invitation to compete at StarSeries i-League Season 5, the event's organisers have revealed.

The Swedish giants are the ninth team confirmed for the event, the fourth to secure an invitation after Liquid, MOUZ and Natus Vincere were all previously unveiled by Starladder.

Currently ranked eighth in the world, Ninjas in Pyjamas are due to attend the upcoming ESL Pro League Season 7 Finals, in Dallas, from May 15-20. At their most recent LAN event, DreamHack Masters Marseille, the team finished in 5th-8th place after losing to fnatic in the quarter-finals.

NiP will compete at the next StarSeries event

The StarSeries i-League Season 5 will include five more invites, to be announced in the future, as well as two teams coming out of the Asian qualifier, which is currently underway. The Ukrainian event will run from May 28 to June 3, with $300,000 on offer.

With Ninjas in Pyjamas's invitation, the team list for the event now looks as follows:

Well you don't have to be a NiP fanboy or an sk hater to see that NiP has had better result than sk in 2018 even tho both of them are far from being top5..
