CS:GO Asia Championships 2018Schedule, format for Asia Championships announced
Perfect World has announced the complete schedule and the tournament format for the 2018 CS:GO Asia Championships.
Running from June 14-18 at the Shanghai Indoor Stadium, the event will feature eight teams, five invited and three qualified, who will square off for the lion's share of a $300,000 prize fund.
The tournament will begin with a double-elimination, best-of-three group stage, with the upper bracket winner automatically progressing to the semi-finals, while the runners-up and the third-placed sides will advance to the first round of the playoffs, which will determine the final two teams making it to the last-four stage.
Natus Vincere and Ninjas in Pyjamas headline the team list, which currently features just six teams as the final two spots will go to the leading sides of the Chinese qualifier, scheduled for May 14-17.
