VG.Flash confirmed at ZOTAC Cup Masters

VG.Flash are the first team confirmed for ZOTAC Cup Master 2018, the event's organisers have announced.

The World Cyber Arena 2017 champions have secured the first of five invites for the $300,000 event, which will run from August 24-26 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center.

Created last month by merging players from ViCi Gaming and Flash, two of China's strongest teams, VG.Flash already have two titles to their name in addition to a successful qualification campaign for StarSeries & i-League Season 5.

VG.Flash invited to the ZOTAC Cup Master

KunHua "LOVEYY" Bai's side and the other four invitees will be joined by the winners of the ZOTAC regional finals that will be held in Asia, Europe and the Americas, each of them with $20,000 on the line in addition to a qualifying spot.

The first of these regional events will take place in just three weeks as Computex Taipei will host the Asia Finals, where the likes of ORDER, MVP PK and Signature will battle it out for a spot in the main tournament.

The team list for ZOTAC Cup Master 2018 currently looks as follows:

I was being sarcastic. Look at the difference in prize pool, that explain why they will allow this one without batting an eyelash.

Yes, but since it's a higher profile one hltv isn't going to shoot themselves in the foot without evidences. Hltv is a business as well.

but you know , even if they get banned they don't care because the mafia literally controlled the whole asia cs scene and people would still gamble on it the only way to combat matchfix is to boycott small online chinese / east-asia tournaments

I agree. They only get banned if its proved, and id say that 95-99 percent cant be proved. It's not like they aren't smart about it, and nobody has the resources required to investigate every single match that involves a comeback, or upset. Boycott is the only way to go.
