Renegades invited to DreamHack Summer

Renegades is the fifth confirmed team to play at the Elmia Convention Center in Jönköping during DreamHack Summer.

The DreamHack Open circuit will once again land in Jönköping, Sweden, with a $100,000 event featuring eight teams. Two of those, Imperial and Complexity, made it through their regional qualifiers, while Gambit and North were directly invited to the organization.

Now, it is the Renegades squad that has received an invitation from the Swedish tournament organizer. The last time they played a DreamHack tournament was in Marseille, at DreamHack Masters, where they came in 9-12th.

Renegades then followed that up with a 5-6th at IEM Sydney, home soil for several of the team's players, and are currently playing SK for survival in the ESL Pro League Season 7 Finals.

Greeting and salutations HLTV! As you all know, I've been awfully inactive these past few weeks and there has been MANY legitimate reasons for this. I won't go into too much detail, but I'll at least clear up some rumours travelling around HLTV when I've occasionally checked the forums here and there. Firstly (and most importantly), I had no internet access for the longest time and only on my Step-Dad's PC. The short time I did get to go on the PC was to do work and send it over to my flatmates who look after the flat for me given I am permanently here living with my siblings as of now. My PC had imploded and I had to pay quite a lot to get a new one built. The one I have currently is very good, but not perfect... I can still play CS:GO, but I'll lag or get packet loss very frequently. I didn't worry about the performance too much as all I wanted and really needed was a working PC. I now have internet access constantly and can go back to my usual schedule - My apologies for the inactivity. Second reason for my inactivity was there was a lot of legal battles going on between my Mother and Step-Dad and currently the situation stands as them being separated, filing for divorce. She moved to Devon to be with another guy, myself and my siblings stay here with the pets, house and my Step-Dad. I generally don't get involved in such arbitrariness, so it was only an irk here and there. Lastly, myself and my Brother spent close to two full days remodelling an entire room. We have a case of dampness in the entire back wall of the my bedroom, so we had to clear the entire thing out to have a the dampness taken care of by a few professionals. I now reside in the living room with my PC right next to the back-door and kitchen. Useless information, but with all due respect it's never a bad thing to be thorough at times. TL:DR:- I now have a working PC, I apologise so much for my inactivity, I have had a lot of issues to sort out over the past fortnight and it's good to have permanent internet access once again. :) I truly hope you've all been well and it's a pleasure to be able to interact with you all once again.
