Rickeh officially joins Rogue

Rogue have confirmed the addition of Ricardo "⁠Rickeh⁠" Mulholland to the team's roster on Twitter.

The news comes shortly after it was reported that Rickeh would step into Anthony "⁠gMd⁠" Guimond's shoes at the upcoming DreamHack Open Austin event, this weekend.

The Australian player ends his free agency and finds a permanent home in North America after searching for a team for nearly six months. During that time, Rickeh fielding for several teams, most-notably ex-Splyce, whom he helped to reclaim a spot in the ESL Pro League.

Rickeh ends his teamless drought by joining Rogue

It is unclear at this point why gMd initially stepped aside for the upcoming event, with his future uncertain as he remains tied to Rogue.

As for Rickeh, the newest Rogue member will jump into the thick of things on Friday, when the team face OpTic in their DreamHack Austin opening match, at 23:30 .

Rogue's roster now looks as follows:

young talent in sick and vice? lol not anymore bro u coulda gotten away with calling those guys young talent like 2 years ago. cadian has lots of experience? sure bro hes been around for many years, but 98% of the time either teamless or on tier3-5 teams. that doesnt count for much. rickeh has never been a good awper. at times in rng and later clg when those teams did well (well compared to their expectations, not actually well) hes shown signs that he could be good, lets put it like that. other times hes been just awful. playing like 2014 JW while whiffing shots like 2017 JW, which is not only bad, it outright loses ur team the game.

Sick was really solid on TSM and Misfits, still a young guy with really good aim and potential to be a star player for the team, Hiko used to be the best player in NA and still has some of that, even though hes fallen off quite a bit. Rickeh was insane when he played for immunity and probably is still the best awper from his region. Plus Cadian played for CHW, he knows how to play and hes a good supportive player. I literally said that I dont think this team will do well, but you can't deny they have talent.

sick mighta been solid on tsm which was a shit team, misfits pretty much stood and fell with sean and amanek. hiko hasnt proven he has anything left in the tank. rickeh was insane when he played for some matchmaking level AU team ok ill give u that. that he might be the best AU awper isnt an achievement. and cadian aint even a supportive player, he has shown in the past that he has one of the worst attitudes ever.

So firstly, I'm on about NA, if this team was in EU I'd say they were shit, but they aren't, apart from Liquid NA is an absolute shitfest rn, no solid teams at all. I'm saying that this team has alot of talent for an NA team, Rickeh is talented for an AWPer in NA. Secondly, the reason these players aren't on the same level as Guardian or s1mple is because until recently they havent been able to play against people of that level, they are isolated to a region of CS which isnt as good, I'd say that the T1 of Aussie CS right now is better than T2 NA by alot
