After the last round of the Swiss group stage, the organizers drew the quarter-final matchups of StarSeries i-League Season 5.

The last round of the Swiss group stage saw Natus Vincere, NRG, and North secure the last three spots in the quarter-finals, defeating AVANGAR, Renegades, and GODSENT, respectively.

After the last match, the playoffs draw took place on the main stream. In the first part of the draw, SK — as one of the two 3-0 teams — were matched up against Natus Vincere (3-2), with AGO and North placed on the other side of the bracket.

SK will go up against Natus Vincere in the quarter-finals

The remaining 3-2 team, NRG, will face their compatriots Liquid in the quarter-finals, while MOUZ will lock horns with Ninjas in Pyjamas as two teams who finished the group stage with a 3-1 record.

The bracket and tomorrow's schedule looks as follows:

North have only won two minor DreamHack-events so it's not like they have been 'good' the way you'd say about teams like SK, FaZe, Fnatic or Astralis at their primes. But North have been absolutely terrible and honestly a big joke in the last half year or so, but the last month they have looked like a top 10 team again.

Obviously a joke, but the loss essentially made sure they got a really easy passage for the final, when you take into account that this is a 250k+ tournament. North to beat AGO and then TL/NRG would not be that big of a surprise imo.

The reason NiP will loose the game against mouseport because, mouseport have 3 strong maps mirrage, nuke and dust 2 and nip struggles on those map.

Wrong. Nip is very bad on mirrage while mouse has very good win rate and quite confident on the map. Dust2 Nip never played. So mouseport will choose either dust2 or mirrage.

Nuke is the hardest map to play with a new lineup (psrt of the reason vp and nip were extremely good on it). Nip should be fine on it now, 3 months ago the roster had barely formed. Rotations are the biggest part of this map so nip should have gotten their comms fine by now.

Agree but they won over navi recently which was navi's pick. They are very good on the map historically whereas nip is quite shacky and scared on the map bro

Mouz v NiP is quite in favor of NiP if you are looking last results between the two. HOWEVER both teams are playing good and bad at the same time, Im giving both teams 50% to win.

I feel like dennis isn't making so much of an impact in terms of frags as he was when he first joined NiP. Initially it was as if he was carrying them in some sense but now it feels like he is just a solid IGL whilst REZ and f0rest are making the most frags.
