Blastinho to take over the AWP in Giants
Miguel "Blastinho" Llombart, formerly of MAD Lions, k1ck, and x6tence, will now play for the Iberian team Giants.
The Spanish AWPer will take Francisco "obj" Ramos's place in the starting roster, with exception of the Portuguese MLP—which grants the winning team a spot in the upcoming Moche XL in Lisbon—as a Portuguese majority is needed to compete in the league.

For the rest of competitions, obj will be put on reserve, as he is still under contract with the Spanish organization. Blastinho got his start with the team today in DreamHack Valencia's Iberian Qualifier, where Giants made it through the first round and will keep fighting to move along the bracket tomorrow morning.
"We're very happy with this new addition to the team. Ever since I played with Blastinho in k1ck I saw he was one of the biggest prospects in the scene and I think he is quite underrated. I've always tried to have him on my team because I know with our help he can become one of the best.
"Since we all have the same goals on the team, I think he's going to fit right in. We also know that his playstyle and skill with the AWP is going to help us a lot. We haven't had much time to practice with him as several tournaments are coming up soon, but we've already started to work hard and put in the extra hours to get up to speed."
With Blastinho on the team, Giants is now:
Omar "arki" Chakkor
Alejandro "alex" Masanet
Ricardo "roman" Oliveira
Joao "KILLDREAM" Ferreira
Miguel "Blastinho" Llombart
Francisco "obj" Ramos (back-up)
Ricardo "AIm" Almeida (coach)
