PERCY completes Sprout move

The 24-year-old Danish player, who has been a stand-in for Sprout since May 21 in online competitions including ESEA MDL S28 Europe and ZOTAC Cup Masters Europe Closed Qualifiers, has completed the team's five-man lineup.

Sprout were left with only three players in mid-May following the departures of Paweł "⁠innocent⁠" Mocek and Kevin "⁠kRYSTAL⁠" Amend. The German organization opted to go for Danish players to round out their squad, adding Dennis "⁠sycrone⁠" Nielsen and Martin "⁠PERCY⁠" Wessel.

PERCY is the third Danish player to join Sprout

PERCY, who has previously played for a myriad of Danish teams including Reason, Copenhagen Wolves, and Tricked, will take up the entry-fragger role in Sprout. In his statement, he expressed his enthusiasm to get a chance to play for Sprout:

"I am really happy and excited about joining Sprout. For a long time I have been very uncertain about my future but being able to join Sprout has given me the confidence to perform my best and focus on my development." said PERCY.

"In the past, the teams that I joined had troubles performing which is why it was difficult to showcase my skills and especially after NaToSaphiX left, the team's future prospects were dim. Now that I am able to rejoin him and get a chance to play with many other talented players, I am very happy."

"Sprout feels like a new chance for me to prove myself in the international Counter-strike landscape. Besides a great team dynamic, we as a team also share the same goals and see eye to eye on many things."

Niels Christian "⁠NaToSaphiX⁠" Sillassen, who played with PERCY in LPSP, said that he is glad to be reunited with his former teammate:

"It's my pleasure to be able to welcome yet another one of my former teammates to Sprout, the best and most aggressive entry-fragger I've ever played with: PERCY. We picked him because he is the best candidate for what was missing on our team and he brought the energy that we needed to go further." said NaToSaphiX in his statement.

He is one of the most underrated all-around players in Denmark who adds firepower, good thinking, great communication and fantastic chemistry to a team that needs exactly that.
