Fragsters to DH Austin playoffs over eUnited
Fragsters are through to DreamHack Open Austin's semi-finals after defeating eUnited 2-1 in Group A's decider match (16-12 on Nuke, 7-16 on Mirage, and 16-4 on Cache).
The group A decider match kicked off on Nuke, where the North Americans of eUnited came out swinging to take an impressive 5-0 CT-side lead over the Danes of Fragsters. It was only in the sixth round Fragsters finally got on the board, following a triple-kill in a post-plant from Jacob "dragonfly" Lund.
Fragsters pressed on to break eUnited's economy after winning three in a row, before the North Americans shut the door to add four more to their lead and make it 9-4. However, the Danes proved they weren't going down without a fight and won the remaining two rounds of the half.

In the second half, Martin "stavn" Lund came out of the gates tapping down three with the USP-S to help his team claim the second pistol. eUnited quickly got their wits together and responded with a three-round streak to bring the scoreline to 12-7. Unfortunately for the North Americans, Fragsters held their ground to win nine rounds in a row to take the map and series lead.
The series then landed on Mirage, eUnited's map pick, where Lucas "Bubzkji" Andersen held the line on the A-site with a triple to secure the pistol for Fragsters. In the following round, Michael "dapr" Gulino put his team on the board with a triple to win the eco, which then turned into a great run with seven straight for an impressive 8-1 lead.
Fragsters finally broke eUnited's streak and stood tall to rack up five rounds in their comeback, but eUnited came alive in the final round of the half to make it 9-6. The North Americans continued through the second half to claim the second pistol as well as the anti-ecos.

It wasn't until the 20th round that Fragsters finally picked up a round in the second half, thanks to Nicolai "torben" Amorim coming out on top in a 1v1, but eUnited remained in the driver's seat to secure the remaining four rounds and tie the series.
The last map of the series was Cache. Fragsters started by winning the pistol and continued to rain down on eUnited's defense to win six straight. The North Americans then called a timeout -- a move that didn't pay off as Fragsters won their seventh in a row (7-0).
eUnited finally got on the board and stabilised their economy after stringing three more rounds together before the Danes put an end to their streak, winning the remaining four to close out the half up 11-4. Fragsters pressed on in the second half and won five in a row to secure their spot in the playoffs.
