NiP open to offers for draken

NiP have confirmed to HLTV.org that they will accept offers for William "⁠draken⁠" Sundin.

In a surprising move, on Tuesday, draken was replaced in Ninjas in Pyjamas by Jonas "⁠Lekr0⁠" Olofsson, who joined the squad from fnatic after his spot on the team had been taken by Richard "⁠Xizt⁠" Landström.

NiP will not stand in the way of a potential transfer of the AWPer, who, after departing the active roster, has expressed his wish to continue playing soon in another team, HLTV.org knows.

draken wishes to find a new team soon

It is unclear whether the Swedish organization has already received any offers for draken, who helped Ninjas in Pyjamas advance to playoffs at two big tournaments this year, at IEM Katowice (1.21 rating) and at StarSeries i-League Season 5 (1.00 rating), his last event with the team.

For the time being, the Swede will remain tied to NiP, until he is bought out of his contract or until it expires.

He can speak it in interviews fairly well and considering that he is from Sweden I would say that his English is easily good enough for him to be able operate in a English speaking team.

The problem is finding the good fit. A team like FaZe would be awesome for him, but they already have GuardiaN, one of the best awpers in the world. He can not go to Fnatic either, because they have JW. Where would he go that is relevant (dropping NA scene)?

kick JW because he's been fucking trash with the AWP for months. Lekr0 was probably Fnatics most consistent player after Krimz. The core 3 will never be able to accept they are the reason for Fnatics problems. Flusha had a good event but hes another one who is up and down. Xizt and Golden will be used as scapegoats, one of them will be dropped then the next one will be in the same situation while JW gets overlooked.

Still think this was a terrible move. I cant imagine the new roster being any better. I wonder if there was something internal since draken really seems ready to skip the fuck outta there. I understand not wanting to just sit around being benched, but this seems a lot like "get me out now"

O.o Sorry, I am a fan of draken and I really do like him but your comment rather works the other way around and compared to Oskar he's, sadly, tier 2..if not tier 3. Draken will definitely find his place..but needs to evolve and grow first further. Oskar's just crazy and hitting flicks and shots out of his mind. My opinion. :)
