EURONICS and Kinguin through to the EU Minor Closed Qualifier

The third out of four open qualifiers for the Europe Minor is now over, with EURONICS and Kinguin through to the closed qualifier.

EURONICS made their way through the round-of-sixteen after easing past tradigt 16-2, on Overpass. Then the German team convincingly swept Tricked across Overpass and Inferno, locking their place in the semi-finals against Squared, who earned their slot after defeating fnatic Academy 2-1 in the quarter-finals.

Squared and EURONICS kicked off their series on Overpass, where the German's map pick proved to be their playground with a massive 11-4 defensive lead at the half. Christian "crisby" Schmitt and his men then fired all cylinders in the second half, winning five straight to take the map and the series lead.

The series landed on Squared's map pick, Train, where EURONICS continued to hound on the Danes for a 5-0 lead. Squared finally got on the board in the sixth round, but the Germans quickly retaliated with their own. That's when Squared finally broke the chains and won seven in a row before EURONICS claimed the last round of the half to make it 8-7.

In the second half, Squared claimed the second pistol and the following anti-eco, but EURONICS' aggression on their T-side broke the Danes run with three in a row to tie (10-10). The two sides then traded rounds back and forth until EURONICS finally reached match point, where Squared's run came to an end—the Danes were unable to force overtime and ended with a 16-14 loss.

well "best" 8 teams are going to be invited to closed qualifier anyway from which u go to minor itself so good chance big part of those teams will make it to minor unless these teams can be better than you expect in which case level should still be fine.
