OpTic are through to the DreamHack Open Summer semi-finals after defeating Complexity 16-5 on Nuke.
It all started with OpTic executing B through ramps, and picking up their T-side pistol thanks to a triple-kill and a 1v1 from Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke. After losing the following two rounds, Complexity won the next two with a triple and a quad-kill from Bradley "ANDROID" Fodor – the latter of which included an impressive 1v3 clutch with low HP.
OpTic did not let that stop them from continuously shutting down the defence, losing just one of the following eight rounds to go up 10-3. Nevertheless, Complexity still managed to reduce the deficit to five rounds thanks to a 1v1 clutch and an XM1014 triple-kill from Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz and ANDROID, respectively.
In the second half, OpTic won their second pistol with a double-kill from Jakob "JUGi" Hansen in a 2v2 situation. From that moment, the Danes simply kept stringing rounds together to close out the match with a 16-5 scoreline.
