WICKED claim third place at KODE5

WICKED pick up third place at KODE5 Global Finals, as they defeated mTw in the bronze match.

Last time WICKED made the podium was at Extreme Masters Global Finals earlier this year. They can now add a bronze medal to their collection. mTw was defeated using three maps. The Poles outplayed mTw on inferno, what maybe use to be their home map, with 16:9.

The Danes got back in with a 16:7 win on nuke. Final map train and mTw as CT, WICKED saw the Danes build up a 5:0 lead, before the Poles took their first rounds. From this point on, the Poles continued to take rounds and mTw only got one more CT rounds, making it 9:6 in favor of WICKED. Not much help was to be found as T and mTw saw the third place sail away. WICKED picked up the final round and locked down train with 16:7.

The Poles place third and cash in $5.000 along with a bronze medal. Only one match remains at KODE5 Global Finals in Moscow, being the grand final, consisting of fnatic and SK Gaming.

They are due to their results in 2008, if you look at G7 rankings, fnatic is currently placed first. But no, it's no acceptable if you aim to be the best.

Everyone can have bad luck for a long term. Like SK, fnatic, ex-MYM. everything is acceptable. Noone can be the best for ever. All good things come to end

they are unlucky, like SK was recently, but in today's final it's gonna change :>

To bad that WICKED lost vs fnatic, they have started both maps great, but then just played 4 frags... :/ I expect that @ the next event WICKED will claim 1st place... Mark my words... :)

Nice, WICKED, and congratulations. Sad that mTw couldn't make it to the the Grand Final, but SK-gaming was quite a thing. I still struggle with my hangovers, so I didn't see the match between WICKED and mTw. I think, I'll join SK-gaming and fnatic soon, but got some things to do. Good luck to both teams, I'll beware next time two good teams are about to play.

Actually for me WICKED's third place was quite a surprise. In my opinion fnatic/SK/mTw were better than them, but they proved me wrong. Hope that SK win the final tho, fnatic has had a huge success with their new lineup and it's up for SK to destroy them and get 1st place. Good luck!

Hmm,they were at top3 three times in this year. 5/12 of year wasn't 'WICKED YEAR' but if they own 7/12 it'll be :D I'm just kidding of course,but all is possible. :)
