Virtus.pro to CS:GO Asia Championships grand final over TyLoo
Virtus.pro defeated TYLOO 2-0 in the semi-final at the CS:GO Asia Championships 2018 (16-13 on Mirage and 16-8 on Train), securing a spot in the grand final.
Mirage started off with TYLOO crumbling in the post-plant as Virtus.pro made a clean retake to claim the pistol round. The Poles went on to secure three more onto their lead to make it 4-0, before TYLOO finally snapped the streak to win their first of the half (1-4).
The Chinese side pressed on, adding two more on the T-side, but the double AWP setup from the Poles finally paid off, netting them their 5th round of the half (5-3). Virtus.pro then held the line to add three more to their lead, until an aggressive TYLOO grabbed their 4th of the half and tacked on two more, before a triple-kill from Michał "MICHU" Müller sealed the 9-6 score at halftime.
In the second half, Virtus.pro took the A-site with ease in the pistol round. However, the Poles were unable to hold off TYLOO on the retake, which saw Kevin "xccurate" Susanto beat Paweł "byali" Bieliński in a 1v1 to claim the round. TYLOO rode on that momentum to secure three more and equalized the score (9-9).

TYLOO then went on to break the tie to make it 10-9, but Virtus.pro jumped back on the T-side to keep things even (10-10). The two sides traded rounds until TYLOO's economy finally hit the tank, which allowed the Poles to take the map 16-13 and the series lead.
The teams then moved on to Train, Virtus.pro's map pick, where TYLOO held the line on A to secure the pistol and the following anti-ecos in a clean 3-0 start. Virtus.pro then finally won their first round of the half after punishing the aggressive Chinese side, and went on to rack up four in a row to make it 5-3.
The Poles streak was then stumped by an aggressive triple-kill retake from Hui "DD" Wu, but the celebration didn't last long for TYLOO as Virtus.pro returned with four in a row (9-4). TYLOO managed to end the streak and secure their 5th of the half, but in the end, it was the Poles who ended up closing the half with a 10-5 scoreline.
TYLOO got off to a flying start in the second half, winning the second pistol and the following anti-ecos to reduce the deficit by two (8-10). Virtus.pro then brought out the double AWP setup, which proved to be lethal as the Poles remained in the driver's seat to win six in a row, securing the 2-0 series win and a spot in the grand final.
