Valve releases Panorama UI preview

Valve has officially launched a preview of the highly-anticipated Panorama User Interface (UI).

According to Valve, the new UI represents "the most substantial change to the look and feel of CS:GO since the game was released, in 2012", with the update overhauling the "experience of interacting with the game, from the main menu to the scoreboard."

The panel-based UI, which has been in the works for over two years now, "enables rapid development, high quality, and high-performance interfaces as well as seamless integration with game content", according to Valve's development website.

The new Panorama UI is available for testing

The Panorama UI is currently available only as a beta release, with details on how to test it available here. Players wishing to give it a try can either play with bots or launch a practice session with a friend.

You're assuming the untrue do to the fact that I never said anything about the idea that reflects the general size of this update. I do believe that a UI change is needed and I also believe that a change like that will not decrease the FPS at all (like you said). That player model is rendered in game menu not behind the scenes when you're actually connected on a server. You do not even know how the current menu works. The actual interface is currently constructed under a one singular wrapper object that constructs itself when the "open menu" key is pressed and destruct when the menu is closed - a measure that was taken in order to preserve performance resources. Again, stop miss-informing people.

Dude where is the good part? Are you serious ? Instead of new glove skins/ cases / panorama and all this stupid updates they should make the real updated that make the difference! Perfectioning hitboxes, tryin' to update the tickrate of the servers, introducing VacNet Power 999 so we have 10% of cheaters instead of 80-90%, a new operation ( because this keeps a lot of people interested in the game ) I personally don't remember a good operation since the Bloodhound. This is a really needed change and valve finally addressed it properly. I hope that Source 2 Engine is on the way for CS:GO because let's be honest, the current 2004 but improved engine cannot keep up with the new hardware technology - a good example can be the FPS comparison between CS:GO and Doom (2016) running on the same computer. The Fps on both games is almost the same (at least in my case) and Doom feels more fluid with no fps drops, better graphics and animations while CS:GO is laggy and has its usual and annoying FPS drops. I really like the update and the direction in which Valve decide to go with CS:GO.

thats because u forgot ur hax on, and everybody else is exiting the server when you start double tapping and watching targets through the walls.. just a few days ago, i played some casual match... there were 2 cheaters on the same team, with newly created accounts wallhacking like crazy... moved to the other team and tried to kick them.. everybody else voted NO every time :DD this game deserves to die, because the comunity are supporting the cheaters

No my friend people play MM a lot, people only play casual just to chill, u can finish a mm game in 30-40 minutes. You have to understand they cannot put a good anti cheat into casual, they have to upgrade the whole VAC system, VAC itself is shit but to upgrade it massively to detect all the cheaters is gonna be insanely tough

When will they finally fix aim/recoil n cs:go? It's annoying that AIM as itself has disappeared because now you only have to sit and spray down all the way no matter what distance is... 1-tap, burst, , spray = AIM as in it was in 1.6 has vanished into the air... 17 y.o. shoot the same way as 28 y.o. because you dont have to put many ours in training ways of shooting in different situation/ranges cause you know the answer for everything - SPRAY. Fix it.

No.. Wrong.. Aim is the biggest thing in cs. You can 1 hit kill anyone with AK or Deagle with headshot. And also, there's nothing wrong with recoil, it's called you being bad. you could learn how to make your spray hit ppl but no, you just stay bad and cry about it on hltv *SHRUG*

I am not playing it anymore mate, just following the scene. I know what you mean, hell, I have been playing CS from 2003 or something. For me the endless matchmaking just is not that much fun anymore. I wish there were some kind of cup/tournament mode where you could play brackets as a team and try to win some kind of team points or trophys.. or maybe competitive 2on2 or 3on3.. or anything else new that fits the competitive style of playing you know :/
