EU Minor closed qualifier first round determined

FACEIT has revealed the first round match-ups for the closed qualifier for the Europe Minor Championship leading to the next Major.

Running from Friday to Sunday, the qualifier will feature 16 teams, who will face off in a best-of-three Swiss stage for the chance to play at the upcoming regional Minor, in London, with eight spots up for grabs.

Half of the teams were invited by FACEIT, while the remaining eight sides came through four open qualifiers, held earlier in the month.

The Ninjas will begin their journey against tomorrow

Ninjas in Pyjamas, the highest-ranked team in the qualifier, will take on tomorrow, who enter the tournament in high spirits after winning the Polish Esport League Season 3 Finals over AGO at the weekend.

ZOTAC Cup Masters European representative Kinguin will lock horns with Fragsters, while LeftOut will meet ENCE in the headline match of this first round, scheduled for 18:00 .

Nip ( tomorrow isn't that good to beat Swedes ) Heroic ( Nordavind was good, but only with cromen - so i can't see them winning this game ) AGO ( Polish team is playing pretty well last time, top15 in the world right now, motivated to go into major - so i don't think Japaleno has a chance, not in minor qualifier ) Red Reserve ( Epsilon is still just a mix team ) OpTic ( Germans are pretty solid online, but Denmark is favourited there ) Sprout ( 50/50 game tbh, Windigo is probably a way better, but i know them and they suck in important games ) Kinguin ( Solid results last time at lan, they're improving so much last time and i only can see them winning here ) ENCE ( should be an easy game for ex_EnVyUs but they're not practicing anymore and i can see a chance by this ) What do you think guys? :)
