Eclipse disband; shuadapai to 5POWER

Eclipse Esports Club's CS:GO division has officially disbanded after being absent from competition last month, with Wei "shuadapai" Wang being transferred to 5POWER.

The Eclipse organization was formed a year ago in May 2017, following a merger between Born of Fire and AllGamers, under the tutelage of Zhengwei "alex" Bian, one of the most successful Chinese 1.6 players. It was previously the home of current TYLOO stand-in Yue "AE" Yu, and CyberZen's Zhen "HZ" Huang.

The announcement on Weibo does not mention Mongolian star Enkhtaivan "Machinegun" Lkhagva, who joined the roster in March and has now been acquired by RRQ to form a new South-East Asian roster in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Winning CSL 2017 Finals was one of Eclipse's biggest moments

During the same period as the Fierce Tiger scandal, Eclipse had their own set of issues regarding SiXan "Artill" Yu's actions. The aforementioned player was initially benched due to his poor performance, which later led to him contacting other teams to join without the club's permission and spreading false rumours about the club. With the damage already done to the club's reputation, Eclipse intended to sue the player for defamation, according to the Weibo post on May 23rd.

Below is a snippet of the organization's full announcement regarding the decision to disband, following the team's mysterious disappearance from the Asian qualifiers of StarSeries i-League S5 and ESL One Cologne 2018 in early May:

"To all Eclipse CS:GO fans:

Today, we are making a very sad announcement: Starting today, the CS:GO division of Eclipse will officially disband.

After handling with every player’s problems properly, the management, coaches and ourselves had a long talk, and we decided to announce this today. Thanks to each and every one of you that cared about Eclipse’s CS:GO division for the past two months. Either concerns or expectations, we understand all of your feelings wanting to know the truth, in spite of a lot of you already knew about the news before this. But to us, before properly handling all of the players’ problems, we will still be blamed on.

The status of our players are as follows:

Lei "bottle" Mao - Player is allowed to freely transfer, his contract will transfer over once he finds his new home.

YangYang "ayaya" Zheng - Currently on loan to EHOME, can be transferred according to his own will afterwards.

SiXan "Artill" Yu - His contract has been released through third-parties and can sign with any team on his own.

Wei "shuadapai" Wang - Player has successfully transferred to 5POWER.

These are the status of all the players, they have our blessing as former comrades, we hope that they can keep the fire in their heart burning and maintain the passion competing competitively in a new environment. The sad part is we won’t be able to achieve those goals we once set together.

Lastly, let’s talk about why did we disband the CS:GO division. It's simple, we disbanded because we no longer have the funds to continue to support. For the past year, not counting sponsorship money, we have lost up to a million (Chinese Yuan). Winnings have been reduced, the costs of players and all of these became the reasons we disbanded."

That’s dumb, no I don’t take your opinion seriously because you want Tarik off of C9 but if you could give me a reason for every team then it could make more sense :)

There are no NA teams left. Just mix teams carried by europeans and Brazilians. Where are the full NA teams? Oh yes, they all suck because too many NA players = shit team

NA never had a good team of only NA players. Sweden did. Denmark did. France did. Brazil did. Now NA needs to prove itself C9 dont count. They were shit and lucky

Old OpTic = Carried by Europeans Liquid = Carried by s1mple, their coach is Brazilian and is the only reason they are good C9 = Luck. One tournament they win then turn to shit losing to Heroic and Team oNe. Now Heroic are losing to tier 8 Norweigan teams and Team oNe are losing to real NA teams LUL

What a pity. CNCS scene just likes a pyramid without base, it's hard for Tyloo and VG to keep their performance advancing in such a shit atmosphere.
