GOSU, Signature and Beyond finalize DHM Stockholm Asian closed qualifier list

The DreamHack Masters Stockholm 2018 East Asia and SEA open qualifiers have been completed, with GOSU, Signature and Beyond advancing on to the closed stage.

Thirty-three teams participated in the East Asian qualifier with familiar names such as The MongolZ and MVP PK being eliminated in the Round of 16 and semi-finals, respectively.

GOSU and SCARZ Absolute became the two remaining teams as they faced off in the grand final. Hong-Gyo "⁠Jinx⁠" Jung's side outlast the Japanese opposition and claimed the 2-0 victory (22-18 on Cache and 16-11 on Inferno).

Meanwhile, the SEA open qualifier had two spots on offer to the closed component, with 115 teams registered. Thailand dominated and had three teams reach the semi-finals, with two of them set to face each other in one of the two qualifying matches.

Signature cruised past fellow countrymen Alpha Red in two straight maps (16-5 on Inferno and 16-3 on Train), while the other Thai team known as Beyond defeated Vietnam's QuestionMark in similar fashion (16-6 on Train and 16-12 on Overpass).

The DreamHack Masters Stockholm 2018 Asian closed qualifier will take place on July 27-29, with the following teams in attendance:
