MIBR edge out Renegades; FaZe beat B.O.O.T-d[S]
MIBR beat Renegades, 16-13, on Cache, while FaZe opened against BOOT-d[S] with a victory on Dust2, 16-9.
Renegades and MIBR kicked off their match with the former taking the pistol round on the defending side, and defending against the Brazilians’ force-buy and eco. Despite having a disadvantage carrying several SMG’s from previous rounds, Renegades were then able to win the first gun round as Aaron "AZR" Ward downed three MIBR players.
Renegades won the second gun round, and kept pressing all the way to the seventh round, when MIBR finally got on the board thanks to a double entry from Jake "Stewie2K" Yip. The American side then couldn’t follow it up, and Renegades reset MIBR taking a 7-1 lead. MIBR were finally able to put a few rounds in late in the half to dampen the first half blow, bringing it back to 5-10.

The second half saw MIBR bring the score back after winning the first three rounds, but a 1vs3 clutch by AZR in an afterplant situation kept Renegades in the lead, 11-8, but doubles by Marcelo "coldzera" David and Fernando "fer" Alvarenga and a defuse by Ricardo "boltz" Prass got MIBR right back on track.
The match then got tied up, 11-11, and then 12-12 after a 1vs3 clutch by Noah "Nifty" Francis, as both teams traded rounds. The match stayed with both teams neck-and-neck, but it was finally MIBR who took the lead, 14-13, breaking Renegades’ economy to go on to close it out, 16-13.

An ace by Håvard "rain" Nygaard gave FaZe the pistol round win on the CT side of Dust2. The European side then showed their superiority by taking the 4-0 lead, but BOOT-d[S] didn’t let themselves get bullied and brought it all the way to a tie.
FaZe once again pounded their fist on the table and took four more rounds to make it 8-4, but BOOT-d[S] then brought it right back to close the half out 7-8 before switching sides.

BOOT-d[S] tied it up in the second pistol round, but Nikola "NiKo" Kovač was able to win a 2vs1 and keep the European team in the lead. FaZe then got up to 13-8 before BOOT-d[S] could reply, although it was finally NiKo & co who were able to take it all the way and close the map out, 16-9.
