eXtatus lineup part ways with organization

eXtatus have parted ways with their lineup, the organization has announced on its website.

The two sides came to a mutual decision to split up after the organization lost its general sponsor, Alza — who helped the team become professional in April 2017 —, in June and couldn't find the funds necessary to extend the lineup's full-time contracts.

The core of the team, Patrik "⁠DEV7L⁠" Stuchlík, Jindřich "⁠ZEDKO⁠" Chyba, and David "⁠frozen⁠" Čerňanský, had been part of eXtatus since May 2016 before the remaining two players joined towards the end of that year.

frozen & co. are no longer part of eXtatus

In their time with the Czech organization, frozen & co. won several local tournaments as well as Cross Border Esport in September last year, and placed second at ESEA MDL Season 26 Europe Finals in January 2018.

However, eXtatus's results faltered this year, as they dropped out of MDL in Season 27 — where they had to play without frozen due to a new age restriction rule — and continue to fall in the ranking, as they're now sitting near the 100th place; their lowest point since January 2017.

The lineup is now looking for a new organization to represent:

"Unfortunately, our professional opportunity in a Czech-Slovakian organization has come to an end. Being contracted for one year, we were able to show ourselves in international waters and prove that we have potential.

"In a relatively short time, we managed to hop into the top 30 rankings with our appearances at the Boston Minor, CBE 2017 and ESEA Global Challenge.

"Even though our current results went downhill, we are hungry more than ever to compete under a new organisation, which will be our new home. If anyone is interested, please contact us at [email protected]."

You don't see the quote above? A team ranked #98 talks about how they've somewhat proven themselves and how they got potential. When in reality, four out of five players are mediocre. The only player on that team who has the potential and skill to become something is Frozen. This is why I lmao'd.

Fair enough. But I would say it's also fair for them to say that. They did somewhat prove themselves and got some decent results once they got to play fulltime. But yes, in the end you're correct and I too think they won't be able to do much more besides frozen. Maybe if oskar keeps playing kinda shit in Mouz they'll replace him. Zero is still free AFAIK. Styko obv. has better opportunities although undeserved. Then you got a pretty decent line-up.

Man, you don´t know what you are talking about. Yes, they suck in last 2-3 months, but you know s*it about CSGO in CZSK region. There is litteraly 0 profesional teams and eXtatus was the only one. There is also 0 known teams and eXtatus became the first one. It was awesome to have at least 1 proffesional team, and the fact, that they have jumped from unknown zeros (internationaly) to top30 team in 6 months shows a potential. The problem is that in February/ March, they lost most of their matches which resulted in not getting invited to international online events for 5-10K$. Yes, they might not be in top 30 now, but that doesn´t mean, they did not show their potential ;)

I think this just shows the state of Esports in general where only 10 -20 organizations can actually compete. Prize Pools distributions are way too high for players Franchisings like LoL indirectly affect CSGO since the big brands are fine to work with those 7 or 8 teams that LCS has leaving CSGO for a 2nd plan and with less chances of developing local scenes. Sad day for CSGO that one more org is down.

Just frozen is trash, he have so childresh behaviour and also his age is a big problem for international events, they won't accept him - if some else remind the ukrainian CS 1.6 player penguin who was 12 years old. hltv.org/news/4633/eswc-breaks-age-rule-.. In that case that penguin's father is rich the ESWC make a special rule and allowed him to play, still, CS was allowed at 16. In CSGO this rule didn't exist, so that team will not big surprised until he turns 16. About Ketubor I meet him at Y-Games and he shows be professional and the age is very normal. If some pro team would come with a coach around 18-20 that couldn't be serious.

Finally, cuz i would not want to pay somebody for doing nothing. After they became "professional" team (playing fulltime for living) they were lazy to train.

They came professional team but they didn't get money for living, I couldn't thought that. I just know that frozen stop going to school. If they had really get money for that one year where they can living from, than they was really bad, cuz you have so much time for training. The czechs and slovaks have lacks of motivation, I really could'nt know why is that so. I managing so many teams from different countries and self a 15th years old team-captain (Finland) has more brain as a 20+ player from cz/sk, could you explain me why is that so. Are cz/sk peoples have a lower IQ ? There exist so many mistakes in their brain, for serious meaning so many excused. Sometimes I heard from a player he is not interesting to drive to a LAN because is to far away from him but he already knows before he had starting playing. Only self-interesting thought and teams using 30% or more standins, tons of mixed teams and they don't care and they still wondering why nothing works in the team or why they can't be better or deserve a better support - it is a story without an end.

The thing is that they need frozen only to protect him so he can make easily kills, that's all. But sadly the teams abandoned so fast like throwing shorts in SK/CZ. SK and CZ must put together to form a team, you can't form a team by 5 players from CZ or SK it's so hilarious. I miss the old times from Fu.Sk. Of course they offer a good range of lan tournaments, with Y-Games the biggest event in Bratislava but that's all. A lack of organisation and less price pool who known's, I would mean the interest in CSGO in their scene is just not enought. #127: That's right, they write bullshit and have no know-how about the scene. Revital-Gaming for example was even established from CS 1.6 and exist until now. I can tell you many organizations who living longer. They mean "eXtatus was first pro team who make a international name"! A few gamers also do not have the motivation to belive in impossible things and as I mentioned already, many many players didn't understand or even can speak english, more czechs as the slovaks. It is understandable why they don't even want to learn to speak english and to have the will of endurance.
