DreamHack Open Valencia groups drawn

The groups for the upcoming DreamHack Open, which will take place in Valencia, have been determined.

Eight teams will be competing at the $100,000 tournament that will take place on July 12-14 in Valencia, Spain. The format being used is the well known DreamHack Open one with two GSL groups leading into a single-elimination playoff.

G2 are in group B alongside Virtus.pro

The group draw sees North, the highest ranked team at the tournament, spearheading group A where HEROIC, AGO and Giants also are, while G2, fresh of a top 6 placing at ESL One Cologne, are placed in group B alongside Virtus.pro, Fragsters and Luminosity.

Spicing up the tournament is North's announcement that they will be trying out an international roster in Valencia, testing the waters with Oscar "⁠mixwell⁠" Cañellas who will stand in for Daniel "⁠mertz⁠" Mertz.

Obj is only better at one thing: Getting benched Blastinho was benched on Mad Lions and in a few weeks he was playing with Giants Obj was benched when Blastinho started to play for Giants and Obj stills without team
