Heroic sign AcilioN; RUBINO released
HEROIC have signed Asger "AcilioN" Larsen, who has replaced Ruben "RUBINO" Villarroel in the active roster.
AcilioN joins HEROIC after spending the last two months as a free agent following his release from Imperial, where he had played from November 2017 to April this year.
The Dane has already been playing with the Danish-Swedish mixture for the past two weeks, as he took RUBINO's place in two qualifiers, for DreamHack Masters Stockholm and the Europe Minor, placing third in the former to secure a spot at the Swedish event and 15th-16th in the latter.

RUBINO spent much of the last two months in inactivity after being struck with an eye infection. He came back into the team for the CS:GO Asia Championships, but he was immediately sidelined again after the tournament as his condition relapsed.
According to his statement, the Norwegian player is confident he will be back "very soon", however, it's unclear whether he has already found a new team.
The move marks the third roster change in HEROIC in as many months, as they brought back Patrick "es3tag" Hansen in April following the departure of Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer and Jakob "JUGi" Hansen to OpTic, and signed Adam "friberg" Friberg in May.
"Having finished my first day in the amazing office surroundings, I must say, I really look forward to playing with the Heroic team. I really had no doubt, when I was first contacted by the RFRSH organization and talking to MODDII, the player-coach, and introduced to their way of working, the facilities and the ambitions only confirmed my initial feelings." AcilioN said in a statement.
"Dreamhack Valencia will be our first tournament, and I can’t wait to pull the shirt over my head and play with the guys as an official Heroic-player. On Imperial, we beat them at Copenhagen Games, but this team and organization is so much bigger, and I am just proud to be a part of it all."
HEROIC's current lineup looks as follows:
Andreas "MODDII" Fridh
Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen
Patrick "es3tag" Hansen
Adam "friberg" Friberg
Asger "AcilioN" Larsen
As mentioned in AcilioN's statement, the Nordic team's offline debut with the newest addition will be at DreamHack Open Valencia, where they'll go up against AGO, Giants, and North in Group A.
