Europe Minor viewer's guide

With the Europe Minor about to start, we have put together a viewer's guide with all the information you need to know regarding the event.

The road to the FACEIT Major will continue on Thursday with the fourth and last Minor, where eight European teams will battle it out for two spots at the showpiece event, as well as for their share of a $50,000 prize pool.

The eight sides have been drawn into two groups of four, which will be played out in a GSL format. The opening and the winners' matches will be best-of-one games, while the elimination and the decider clashes will consist of best-of-three series. The top two teams from both groups will proceed to the double-elimination, best-of-three playoffs.

NiP are the highest-ranked team in attendance

I'm about 50/50 on NiP. They keep choking but I can see Dennis and Lekr0 giving it their all to qualify. Maybe Rez too. It's the old timers I'm worried about.

It's gonna take some superstar stuff from Dennis, Lekr0 and Rez for them to make it. I have very little faith in the old guys.

I don't think Optic will go very deep in the major but they seem to be pretty good at the qualifying stages of tournaments, as far as just playing solid CS and edging out the opponent with good fundamentals. Jugi, K0nfig and Gade are unfortunately all pretty all over the place. You can always trust Cajun though.

Very hard for me to pick here. Optic, Ence, Nip and Red Reserve are the most likely IMO, but I feel like anyone but 3DMax can upset here. I got a slight feeling that Sprout can outplay some of the big names here (LeftOut and NiP), they've got good fundamentals and some decent talent honestly.
